Pushing Athletes to Excel
Keith is a former pro Ironman competitor and has been coaching amateur and pro athletes for over 25 years.
Coaching means more to Keith than just writing training plans. Keith believes in individual development plans, taking into account each athlete's level of performance, goals, and schedule. He listens to his athletes, sets realistic goals, and reacts quickly to change the plan when needed. He works collaboratively to develop each client's individual competencies and hidden talents.
Keith’s coaching philosophy is to help you get the most out of your available training time. Keith doesn't believe in junk mileage or useless workouts. Keith believes every workout has a purpose and is designed to help you reach your goals. Keith always talk about "the process,” as a philosophy that emphasizes preparation and hard work over race results alone. It’s critical that the athlete understands how and why improvements are happening. That’s why Keith often tells his athletes to trust the process and the results will follow.
